Lifts & Lift Surfing

LIFT SURFING IS DANGEROUS

The Wolds Flats

This was the first lift I ever surfed. Each building has a lift and 1 of the buildings is taller, which is the one I picked for lift surfing. Almost every day after school I would go to these lifts and surf them. One day I took 5 of my friends on top of this lift with me. We couldnt all get on this lift so 1 of us would stay outside while the rest of us stayed on top. One of us kicked the metal under the lift door and made a really loud bang and they got caught. the rest of us got caught later and we were banned from this building, for the 7th time.

These lifts are some generic LES lifts but I do actually like these lifts.

In this video I had to pretend to be a lift engineer to get on top of these lifts. the residents actually think im the enginner!

Crowne Plaza Car Park

One of these lifts has been abandoned and the way up to the motor room has been boarded up which is why it has never been repaired. The other lift has a broken down button. These are some old schindler lifts that have has their buttons replaced but everything else is original. It has an A&A car top control which might not be original. The down button on the car top control station doesnt work and if you go too high on top of this lift you will get trapped in the abandoned upper levels of this car park. I also got stuck in this lift.

Hanley House

These lifts are really bad and the building is easy to get trapped in, theres nothing to really say except that everything in hanley house is cheap and crap.

ASDA Arnold

I nearly got stuck on top of one of these lifts, but dont let that put you off using it, lifts are designed to stop to prevent something from going wrong. These are really heavy duty lifts and are the only 2:1 traction lifts I have surfed so far. My speaker on top of a lift video was recorded here and this is also the place from the roofing arnold shops video.

Tallest Building in my city

If you live in the same city as me you will know where this is. These are some 2.0m/s ANSA lifts that serve 30 floors. Lift 1 is my favorite lift to surf.
